A New Hampshire man was injured Friday morning when the small plane he was piloting crashed at Jaffrey Airport.Jaffrey police said the plane crashed at about 11:50 a.m. in a field next to the runway. The pilot was trapped in the wreckage until he could be extricated by first responders.The pilot, who was the only person on board, was identified as Ronald Jones, 75, of Brookline, New Hampshire. Police said it appeared that the Sonex single-engine aircraft was taking off when the propeller stopped working.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
Last month, two men suffered serious injuries when a plane veered off the runway at Jaffrey Airport and flipped onto its roof.
