Shubman Gill said Indian batsmen will have to dominate unlike last time when the top order disappeared.

Shubman Gill is one of India’s most promising young batsmen. He has a technically sound batting style and has the potential to be a world-class player. However, Gill seems to have a weakness in his game: he struggles to bowl left-arm.
There are a few things Gill can do to improve his batting against left-arm bowling. like practicing more left-arm bowling in the nets and also working on his technique against the swinging ball. Another aspect could be to better capture the movement of the seam of the ball.

When we meet a new bowler, that makes all the difference. We don’t play against Pakistan and we are not used to them,” he added.
Gill said he was also confident that left-arm bowling specialist Nuwan Seneviratne would put up a better show against Afridi and generally against the Pakistan quicks.
“Having a left-arm pitching specialist helps a lot. Helps prepare for the angle. Playing against Pakistan was different. It was my first match and there was extra pressure… but in the World Cup every match is pressure and getting used to that here against Pakistan helps us.”
