PM holds meeting to brief about electric vote-casting machine

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, chaired a meeting to brief about the functioning of an electric, two-way vote casting machine, on Tuesday. 

The meeting was attended by Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, Managing Director National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) Brigadier Touseef and other officials.

The Prime Minister(PM) was apprised that the proposed voting system would provide both electronic and paper trail which would ensure transparency of the elections in a secure way.

Moreover, the voting system is under practice in various countries across the globe including Korea.
