ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that the industrial sector is showing sustained growth, which is good news.
In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister said that large scale manufacturing saw another double digit growth of 11.4 percent in December last year as compared to the same month previous year.
“The cumulative growth from July to December last year is above eight percent nowâ€, he added. Meanwhile, informed sourced sources said that Prime Minister would hold second round of his telephonic interaction with general public to hear their complaints. This is likely to be held after return of the Prime Minister from official visit to Sri Lanka commencing from February 23.
The duration of the programme, According to sources will be enhanced from sixty minutes. The first round this year was held on February 1, and the calls largely focused on the coronavirus pandemic, urging people to realise the importance of exercising caution and wearing masks so Pakistan can successfully reduce the spread of the virus.Â
During his first speech after his victory to become the prime minister, Imran Khan had promised he will be “answerable†before the people twice every month in a “Question Hour†in the National Assembly.
