Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari, on Saturday, has announced that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan would attend a meet-up in March, with three-membered representative committee of families protesting in Islamabad since a week ago.Â
Mazari taking it to twitter, highlighted that she met with the victim’s family and has conveyed their words of mouth to the PM.
In addition, she ascertained the fact that loss of families is the government’s responsibility.Â
She said it is government’s “Commitment to ensure an end to this practice of enforced disappearances through legislation”, saying that the “process is now moving forward”.

In a press release, Mazari informed the media to have been met the families of victims, further conveying his message as stated below:
1. The protesters should end their dharna.
2. The prime minister would meet a three-member representative committee from among the protesters in March in a meeting arranged by Mazari.
3. The protesters would hand over a list of the missing persons so their status could be ascertained and communicated to the prime minister before the meeting.
She further said that priority should be given to search out the missing persons of thirteen families who went to sit-in protests at Express Chowk, Islamabad.Â
