Police arrest suspects involved in gang rape of sixteen-year-old: Karachi

A 16-year-old female student of Gulshan-e-Hadeed locality in Karachi got kidnapped and gang-raped.

Four people allegedly involved in the gang-rape of the female student have been arrested by the police naming Umair, Fawad and Sami as prime suspects who were nominated in the FIR.

The brother of the suspect’s friend said that the affected girl had already given her statement before the court and said that she did not know Adil. “However, the police have included Adil in the case owing to his friendship with Fawad and Sami,” he said.

According to the sources, the sister of the prime suspect and the victim used to study at the same tuition centre.

On February 9, the accused after tricking her for the marriage, brought the girls at an anonymous place where the unfortunate incident of gang rape occured. 

The statement of the girl, after recording under 164CrPC has been forwarded to the relevant court. Moreover, among the four accused Fawad, Sami, Adil, and Sameer, one has been bailed.
