Police dogs bring man to bay after frantic foot chase

The threat of an unleashed police dog was all it took for a wanted man to surrender himself after a foot chase in Adelaide.

Footage shows the officers chasing the man through the yards of several homes, as he jumps fences.

In video, one officer is heard repeatedly warning the man that the dog he holds will soon be let loose.

“I’m going to release him,” the officer is heard repeating.

At that, the 25-year-old stops and surrenders himself to officers.

He was wanted on two counts driving while disqualified, two counts of speeding, and two counts of providing a false name to police.
