Nashville Predators forward Yakov Trenin won his arbitration case on Friday securing a two-year contract worth $3.4 million.

Trenin posted career highs this past year with 17 goals and seven assists for 24 points in 80 games during the regular season, plus three goals in four playoff games.
Drafted in the second round, 55th overall, by Nashville in 2015, Trenin has 24 goals and 17 assists for 41 points in 146 games over his three seasons with the Predators.
The 25-year-old from Chelyabinsk, Russia, also spent part of the 2020-21 campaign with St. Petersburg SKA of the KHL and recorded four goals and three assists in 21 games.
