President summons joint session of Parliament 

ISLAMABAD – President Dr. Arif Alvi has summoned a joint session of the parliament today [Thursday] to formally start the third parliamentary year of the National Assembly. The President of Pakistan has to address the joint session of the parliament before the start of each parliamentary year. The President in his address shares the loopholes of the present government and gives a future roadmap to the government.
