Oct 9 (Reuters) – Distinguished Harvard College alumni on Monday denounced a pro-Palestinian assertion from college students that blamed Israel for violence engulfing the area and urged the college to take motion in opposition to the signatories.
The Islamist militant Hamas motion, which controls the Palestinian enclave of Gaza, attacked Israel on Saturday within the worst breach of the nation’s defenses since Arab armies waged conflict in 1973. Israel has responded with air strikes on Gaza.

A coalition of 34 Harvard college students organizations mentioned they “maintain the Israeli regime completely answerable for all unfolding violence” following many years of occupation, including that “the apartheid regime is the one one responsible.”
The organizations signing the letter included Muslim and Palestinian help teams plus others named for quite a lot of backgrounds together with the Harvard Jews for Liberation and the African American Resistance Group.
Reuters couldn’t confirm what number of college students supported the letter.
