Sultans and Kingsmen enter the fixture with contrasting momentum in their favour as the 2021 champions are coming off a comprehensive five-wicket victory over Islamabad United in their campaign opener, while the new entrants are on a two-match losing streak.
Kingsmen made their PSL debut against holders Lahore Qalandars last week and suffered a 69-run thrashing before locking horns with the previous edition’s runners-up Quetta Gladiators, who inflicted a 40-run defeat on them.
