For the second month in a row, Qatar Airways has flown more people in and out of Australia than any other airline and is carrying significantly more freight than a year ago.
International airline data for May compiled by the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics, revealed the devastating effect of COVID-19 travel restrictions on the industry with passenger traffic down 98.3 per cent on the same time last year.
