A police officer is in hospital and three people are in custody after a dramatic Taser takedown at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre.
It is understood police were searching for a man at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore on Friday afternoon.
Officers were conducting inquiries when a senior constable was allegedly struck in the head with a glass bottle.
The aftermath of the incident was captured by a bystander.
The vision shows a struggle inside a barber shop as police tried to apprehend the man.
However the man broke free and ran towards a crowd before he was Tasered by police.
The man was arrested and two others were taken into custody for allegedly obstructing police.
A senior constable was taken to hospital following the incident with non-life-threatening injuries.
