Ram Charan announced his latest production venture “The India House” on Sunday, which will feature actors Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. The pre-independence drama will be directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, who has written films like “Johaar” and “Bhairava Geetha.” Charan announced the project on the 140th anniversary of Veer Savarkar’s birth. Taking to Twitter, Charan shared an announcement video, writing, “On the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of our great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar Garu, we are proud to announce our pan-Indian film: THE INDIA HOUSE, headed by Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupam Kher ji and director Ram Vamsi Krishna! Jai Hind!”
The official release date of the film is still awaited. The film is the first production venture under Charan and Vikram Reddy’s newly launched brand, V Mega Pictures. The producer of “The Kashmir Files”, Abhishek Agarwal Arts (AAArts), is also part of the project.
Shortly after sharing the announcement video, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons. “This is going to be epic,” wrote one user. Another user commented, “GLOBAL HERO – GLOBAL PRODUCER” “Amazing…waiting for release,” one user commented. In the announcement video, Nikhil could be seen holding a briefcase in front of a burning house.
Meanwhile, Charan recently marked his presence at the G20 Summit in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. She attended an event on film tourism for economic growth and cultural preservation. He will next be seen in director Shankar’s upcoming action flick ‘Game Changer’ opposite actress Kiara Advani.
‘Game Changer’ will be released in three languages: Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Apart from Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, the film also stars SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Anjali and Srikanth. The film is scheduled to be released this year. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
Nikhil, on the other hand, will next be seen in the upcoming thriller ‘SPY’ which is set to hit theaters on June 29. Anupam was recently seen in the thriller ‘IB71’ alongside actor Vidyut Jammwal. He will next be seen in director Anurag Basu’s upcoming film ‘Metro…In Dino’ opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali KhanKonkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, and Neena Gupta.
