Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the Lowveld, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers on the Highveld, but scattered in the extreme south-east. 

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but hot in places in the Lowveld, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in places in the south.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy a in the east with morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. 

Northern Cape:

Temperature:Morning fog patches in places along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise fine and hot to very hot. It will become partly cloudy in the east by the afternoon. 

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south westerly becoming westerly to north westerly by the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the west coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot over the interior. It will become partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers over the east and central parts from late afternoon persisting into the evening. 

Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong easterly along the south coast but fresh to strong south-easterly in the south-west and light north-westerly. 

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Fine in the north at first, otherwise cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers. 

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly.

The Eastern half -Cloudy with light rain long the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and warm.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly at first, becoming fresh to strong northeasterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise cloudy and warm but cool in the south-west, with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the extreme east. 

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
