Husband separated from Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) He speaks out in support of the controversial congresswoman and says that he is to blame for the problems in the marriage.
In May, Lauren and Jayson Boebert Announced they were getting divorced after almost 18 years of marriage. The couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
But Jayson offered some details of the division in a facebook message published on Monday and took responsibility for the shattered relationship.
Jayson’s message began with a shout out to “the people of Colorado’s 3rd District and across the country” before referring to “the deep concerns circulating” and “the attacks on Lauren,” a possible reference to the congresswoman. being expelled from a recent Theatrical performance of “Beetlejuice” in denver, partly for vaping and to groping his date.
The congresswoman initially denied the accusations but later apologized. She claimed that her behavior was due in part to your divorce application.
Jayson Boebert said he felt people should know the truth “of our broken marriage and the burden she has carried for too long” and said she was “ofdevastated by the pain” he has caused his wife.
“I take full responsibility for my actions and deeply regret the decisions I made that led to the breakdown of our marriage,” he wrote. “I was unfaithful to Lauren in many ways. I should have always given my best just like she did. “My actions were selfish and thoughtless, and I did not consider the consequences they would ultimately have on the person I hold most dear to my heart.”
“This has been a devastating divorce for which I bear full responsibility,” he added. “It bothers me that everyone thinks she left me for fame or a new lifestyle. That is far from the truth. On the other hand, most of what is said about our family is false. Another battle we have faced together for too long. A lot of this is on me because the problem starts at the root. I am the root.
“The pain I caused Lauren was not only significant but also something she carried within her, burying it deeply, as she continued to love the people and our country without fear and with a smile every day.”
Jayson said he has “embarked on a journey of self-reflection and personal growth” since the split and is “committed to becoming a better man, one who can fully appreciate and reciprocate the love and kindness that has been shown to me.”
Then he turned to his ex-wife and said: “IIf you are reading this, please know that I am dedicated to doing everything in my power to rebuild trust that has been shattered. I am behind you. You are the hardest working person I know, selfless and overflowing with love. I hate the attacks that come your way. “This is partly my fault and you don’t deserve this.”
Jayson Boebert then asked people reading her post to “show grace and mercy toward Lauren in this troubling season,” saying she “deserves the chance to earn your forgiveness and regain your trust.”
He added: “I have broken her in many ways, but she will come out stronger as ever, and so will I.”

Lauren Boebert said she appreciated her husband’s post.
“I appreciate Jayson’s candid comments. “This is a new season for us, both grace and prayers for our family are welcomed by all.” he told the Daily Beast in a statement.
The couple he met for the first time when he was 16 years old and he was 22 years old at a Burger King restaurant where she worked. They married in June 2005, a few months after the birth of their first son, Tyler.
A hearing on her divorce petition is scheduled for October.
