Report: Rams receiver Robert Woods suffers torn ACL in practice

Los Angeles Rams receiver Robert Woods suffered a torn ACL in practice on Friday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Dianna Russini.

The news comes after the Rams landed Odell Beckham Jr., who was waived by the Cleveland Browns.

In nine games this season, Woods has 45 catches for 556 yards and four touchdowns while adding another 46 rushing yards and a touchdown. He was second on the Rams in receiving yards behind Cooper Kupp who leads the NFL with 1,019 yards and 10 TDs.

With Woods’ injury, second-year receiver Van Jefferson and Beckham Jr. figure to get more targets in Los Angeles’ offence. The Rams look to bounce back from their loss to the Tennessee Titans when they travel to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.
