Residents told ‘avoid area’ after crash into gas substation forces evacuation

SGN, a gas company, are supporting the emergency services near the junction of Pagham Road and Hook Lane after a vehicle collided with their gas network this morning.

To ensure everyone’s safety while their engineers assess the damage, Pagham Road and Hook Lane are closed at this junction. A signed diversion route is in place for affected motorists.
