Several hundred people rallied in central London on Saturday to call for the UK to rejoin the European Union which it left in 2020. Protesters carried placards reading “Brexit is a monumental disaster” and chanting “rejoin” as they marched past the prime minister’s Downing Street residence to gather in Parliament Square.
