Road Rage On Cam: Man dragged under hood of car for 3km in Delhi, rescued after PCR Chase

In another road rage incident, a man drove his car for around 3 km with a person hanging from the hood in Delhi. In an alleged video of the incident, the driver can be seen continuing to drive his car despite a man clinging to the hood. The defendant stopped the car only after the police vehicle passed him and blocked his way.

The incident happened around 11pm on Sunday, as the car was driving towards Nizamuddin Dargah from Ashram Chowk.

The man on the bonnet was identified as Chetan, a taxi driver, while the defendant driving the car was identified as Ramchand Kumar.

According to Chetan, he was returning from dropping off a passenger when the defendant’s car hit his vehicle three times. He got out of his car to confront the defendant, but started driving his car with Chetan hanging from his hood.

“I work as a driver, I was returning after dropping off a passenger. When I got near Ashram, a car hit my car three times, and then I got out of my car and stood in front of it. After which he started driving the car, I hung on the hood and he kept driving from Ashram Chowk to Nizamuddin with me hanging on the hood. I kept asking him to stop but he didn’t stop. The person was totally drunk. On the way I saw a PCR standing, they followed us until the car stopped,” said the victim.

Meanwhile, the defendant has denied the victim’s allegation that his car touched Chetan’s vehicle and claimed that the taxi driver deliberately jumped on the hood of his car.

“My car didn’t even touch his car, I was driving when he deliberately jumped on the hood of my car. I asked him to come down but he didn’t listen to me. Then I stopped my car and asked him what he was doing,” defendant Ramchand Kumar said.
