Team RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR is on cloud nine as their song Naatu Naatu is nominated for an Oscar. In a recent interaction with the media in the US, Ram Charan said that he wanted to work with many Hollywood directors. On Friday, on Instagram, the actor posted photos with American director JJ Abrams, known for movies like ‘Mission Impossible 3’, ‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
Sharing a carousel of photos posing with Abrams, Ram Charan wrote: “I was privileged to meet JJ Abrams today. Thank you sir for having me tonight. I am a huge fan of your work. @jjabramsofficial.” In the frame, Ram is seen wearing a blue suit while Abrams is seen wearing a gray suit. They both seem elated after meeting.
Ram’s fans did not forget to pour out their love for the star. “World star in service,” wrote one. Another wrote: “Star Wars or Star Trek coming soon!!!”
Likewise, the actor acharya expressed his desire to work with the American filmmaker. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, when Ram Charan was asked which directors he would like to work with abroad, he said, “There are many. I want to work with Mr. JJ Abrams, Quentin Tarantino is my all-time favorite.” . I grew up watching a lot of his movies. He’s been a huge influence and Inglourious Basterds is on my playlist on Sundays.”
Ram Charan has been campaigning heavily for the Oscar-nominated film ‘RRR’ in the US since last month. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film is in the running for the trophy in the best original song category. In his tenure in Hollywood, Ram previously appeared on various American shows and garnered praise. On the KTLA Entertainment show, Charan has been referred to as India’s Brad Pitt. Reacting to that, Ram blushed and said, “I mean I like Brad Pitt for sure.”
Before that, he appeared on the daytime talk show ‘Good Morning America’. He spoke heartily of him about becoming a father soon and also about the mega hit movie ‘RRR’. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ will be performed on the Oscars stage by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. The 95th edition of the Oscars, organized by jimmy kimmelwill be broadcast live on March 13 in India.
