Russia Strikes to Seize Belongings From Critics of Its Battle in Ukraine

Russian lawmakers need to confiscate the property of people that criticize the navy invasion of Ukraine, intensifying the Kremlin’s crackdown on dissent in opposition to President Vladimir Putin.

Draft laws submitted to the State Duma on Monday and backed by Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, a detailed Putin ally, will allow the seizure of property, cash and different valuables belonging to these convicted of spreading “pretend information” in regards to the Russian military.
