Russia summons UK, French envoys over Ukraine Storm Shadow missile strike

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it had summoned the British and French ambassadors ‌to ⁠lodge a protest over ‌a Ukrainian strike on Russia ⁠this week with missiles “manufactured by a Franco-British consortium.”

Ukraine said on ‌March 10 that it had used Storm ‌Shadow missiles to hit a factory that produced semiconductor devices and integrated micro chips for missiles in the Russian city of Bryansk.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said Moscow considered the strike to be a deliberate provocation aimed ⁠at derailing a peace settlement in ⁠Ukraine.
