MOSCOW, Nov 24 (Reuters) – Russia views Moldova’s resolution to hitch EU sanctions in opposition to it as a hostile step aimed toward destroying ties with Moscow and can retaliate, the Russian overseas ministry stated on Friday.
The Russian denunciation was issued in response to a vote in Moldova’s parliament agreeing to abide by the punitive measures as a part of measures to change its laws as required for its bid to hitch the European Union.
