SAHEL/SAUDI ARABIA : Riyadh poised to stump up â‚¬100m for G5 Sahel after three-year delay

In early June, the Saudi deputy defence minister Khalid bin Salman informed his counterparts at the G5 Sahel (Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Chad) that Saudi Arabia will be disbursing â‚¬100m in aid to the Sahelian force by 2022.
