Sam Neill tells fans he is ‘alive and well’ and in remission after revealing blood cancer diagnosis

Neill went on to explain that he never thought he would have such a thriving acting career. That is one of the reasons why he subtitled the book “Cinema, life, love and other catastrophes.”

“So it gives you an idea of ​​all the crazy things that have happened to me. The tone of the book is one of surprise,” he said. Neill first spoke about his health situation in an interview with the guardian which was released on Friday. He told the newspaper: “I’d really like another decade or two, you know? We’ve built all these beautiful terraces, we’ve got these olive trees and cypress trees, and I want to be around to see it mature.” And I have my adorable little grandchildren. I want to see them grow. But as for the dying? I couldn’t care less.”
