Akshay Kumar is a rare Bollywood star who believes in completing and releasing multiple movies in a year. The latest movies of his did not do well at the box office, but his popularity is intact and his upcoming movies are eagerly awaited. One of his upcoming releases is based on a real life incident that took place in 1989 in a mine. For a long time, the film has been addressed as gill capsule. But bollywood hungama has learned that the film’s final title, approved by the filmmakers, is different.

the great indian rescue is all set to open in theaters this year. Trade sources say this could be Akshay Kumar’s next release after selfiealthough Soorarai Pottru The remake is scheduled for September 1. Now it remains to be seen which movie opens in theaters first.
the great indian rescue is based on the former chief mining engineer, the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who saved the lives of 65 people trapped in a flooded coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, in 1989. The film was shot last year in Yorkshire. Akshay Kumar is seen wearing a turban in this film and the character’s first look at him managed to draw attention.
Besides Akshay Kumar, the great indian rescue it also stars Parineeti Chopra and is produced by Pooja Entertainment. It is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. Both Akshay Kumar and Tinu had previously worked on the 2016 courtroom drama, rusty (2016).
