Europe’s largest shoe retailer is set to open a new store in a UK town later this month following a £300,000 investment. Deichmann’s new 250 sq m shop will be based at the Four Seasons Shopping Centre in Mansfield, near Nottingham.
The opening will create seven new jobs in the area, including assistant and supervisor roles. The company said employees will have regular training and opportunities to further their careers. Marko Josifoski, CEO at Deichmann UK, said: “We’re really pleased to be opening this new store and bringing our great value offering to Mansfield. We have an extensive range of brands and footwear for the whole family available and we’re looking forward to customers discovering all that the new store has to offer.” The shop’s own-brand shoes start at just £5.99, while real-leather products start at £29.99. The store will open on March 26, with celebrations to mark the occasion on March 28 with giveaways, offers and family fun activities throughout the day.
On March 28, the store will offer free shoes worth up to £30 to the first 25 customers, plus opening offers such as 50% off selected lines and a spin-the-wheel game with exclusive discounts.
The full range of footwear for men, women and children includes exclusive lines from brands such as Adidas, Nike, Skechers and Fila.
These come with an ongoing best price guarantee, ensuring that customers are matched on price, or they will be refunded the difference if they find an identical pair of branded shoes cheaper in any UK high street or online retailer.
Deichmann’s ‘rack room’ concept allows customers to browse the range and sizes available on the shop floor. If a style is not available in the right size in-store, a store assistant will check its availability online or in other stores, with a free ‘ship to store’ or ‘ship to home’ option.
When shopping online, customers can also choose to Click & Collect at their local store, ensuring a full range of options.
Digital foot-measuring machines are available in stores, and children’s printable at-home gauges are available online, making it easier and quicker than ever to select the right-fitting footwear for the whole family.
Deichmann also offers an extensive range of well-known footwear labels and own-brand fashion lines, along with stylish bags and accessories.
The company frequently collaborates with celebrated designers and A-list stars. Previous collaborations have included Giovanna Fletcher, Leni Klum, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.
