Another Bollywood movie has been postponed. A series of announcements were made on Monday, July 3, and among them was yodha which will now be released in December 2023. The film starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead, which was scheduled to be released on October 27, will hit the screens on December 15, 2023. The film is an action saga directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.

Dharma Productions, on July 3, tweeted: “Recharged and ready to fly! #YODHA, the first action film in the franchise headed by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debuting duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, hits theaters on DECEMBER 15, 2023. The film also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in lead roles.”

Sidharth had previously said in a statement: “As an artist, you will want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This really revealed a newer version of me, for which I am very grateful. The amount of love I have received from the public and the fans is magical. I can’t wait to show you what yodha has for them.”
Raashii also mentioned, “(Initially) I thought that only certain people could be Dharma heroes. I didn’t think it would be easy for people coming from outside to pack those movies. So the fact that I’m in this movie opens doors for others. You don’t necessarily have to be part of a certain background to be part of a Dharma film. You work so hard on your skill set that your talent cannot be discounted.”
Starring Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna opposite Sidharth Malhotra, Amazon Prime and Dharma Productions present in association with Mentor Disciple Films, a Dharma Production film, Yodha, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan.
