EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — The 177th Fighter Wing returned dwelling final month after spending about three months abroad, becoming a member of American forces within the Center East for counterterrorism efforts associated to the Israel-Hamas battle.
The 119th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, which is a part of the 177th and primarily based at Atlantic Metropolis Worldwide Airport, had been abroad because the finish of October. The South Jersey-based fighters now align with the Ninth Air Pressure (Air Forces Central), which presently operates three F-16 squadrons, two A-10 Thunderbolt II squadrons, and one F-15E Strike Eagle squadron, in response to the air pressure.
