The company has already installed its AI-enabled reverse vending machines in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Abu Dabai and will install a total of 1,000 in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Users also receive rewards in the mobile app every time they place an empty can or bottle that they redeem for discount vouchers for delivery services, food and other offers.
The company said users have placed a bottle every three seconds and 30,000 plastic bottles and aluminum cans daily in the region.
The company has collected 35 million recyclable materials, 26 million plastic bottles and 8.6 million aluminum cans around the world.
