In fact, the vaccination roll-out at the SA Rugby is underway as the Springboks prepare for the home Tests against Georgia and the British and Irish Lions.

Erasmus was speaking to the media in a virtual press briefing on Friday.

“The Springbok squad and wider group that will be involved have either been vaccinated already, or are in the process of doing so,” said Erasmus.

Erasmus further confirmed that the British and Irish Lions squad has already been vaccinated.
