Strong Storm Destroys Home in Florida’s Manatee County

At least one person was injured and several homes were damaged after a storm moved through Manatee County, Florida, on Saturday, April 10, officials said. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several counties on Florida’s west coast on Saturday. The NWS warned of hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph. More than a dozen homes were damaged by strong winds in Manatee County, local media reported, citing emergency management officials.
