Student Exchange Program: Plaksha University Signs MoA With Cornell University Team

Mohali-based Plaksha University has signed a Memorandum of Association (MoA) with US-based Cornell University to facilitate international academic exchange, develop academic and scientific relationships, and support research activities in collaboration.

The two universities are set to launch a two-way student exchange program, in which Cornell students will have the opportunity to visit Plaksha and vice versa, according to a statement from Plaksha University.

The MoA was announced by Professor Rudra Pratap, Founding Vice Chancellor of Plaksha University; Wendy Wolford, Cornell University Vice Chancellor for International Affairs, and Ruth E Polson of Cornell University’s Department of Global Development, recently on the Mohali campus.

Plans for Cornell faculty to visit the Plaksha campus for workshops enabling research collaborations in the fields of clean energy and digital agriculture were also discussed at the occasion. Both universities will undertake collaborative teaching in an attempt to foster a truly global classroom environment.
