It seems that the long feud between Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan has come to an end and reportedly started during Darr release. However, after the great success of bridge 2, SRK called Sunny to congratulate him on his box office win. SRK recently revealed that he had seen the movie and loved it.
Sunny Deol Says ‘Time Heals All’ As He Addresses An Old Feud With Shah Rukh Khan, Says SRK Called Him To Congratulate Him On Gadar 2’s Success
Sunny told Times Now: “Shah Rukh Khan had seen the film. Before that, he had called me and wished me the best. He was very happy and he told me: ‘I’m so happy, you really deserve it’ and I said thank you. Then I spoke to his wife (Gauri Khan) and his son (Aryan Khan). And he said that tonight we are going to see this movie. And after that, he saw it and I think that’s when he tweeted.”
“It was so beautiful. Many times I also called him and we shared our opinion on certain things, ”she says. And he added: “About the problems of the past, whatever they have been, I would say that time heals everything and we move on. This is how life should be.”
Previously, Deol was not happy with the way SRK’s character was glorified in Darr. During an appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Sunny said, “At the end of the day, people loved me in the movie. They also loved Shah Rukh Khan. My only problem with the movie was that I didn’t know they would glorify the villain. I always work on films with an open heart and I believe in the person. I think work with confidence. Unfortunately, we have a lot of actors and stars who don’t work this way. Maybe that’s the way they want to achieve stardom.”
In the workplace, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for Jawan’s release on September 7, 2023.
