Super Mario Bros. Wonder Has Been Rated For Nintendo Switch

Nintendo came out strong in the previous Direct with the reveal of its new platformer, Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

It’s coming out on Switch this October, and ahead of launch, the North American leaderboard ESRB recently rated this upcoming release. Unsurprisingly, it’s ‘E’ for everyone and contains some mild fantasy violence, and a reference to “in-game purchases” on Switch is also mentioned.

Perhaps most exciting of all, though, is the game’s official ratings summary, which reveals what else players can expect from Mario’s newest adventure, as well as the return of his arch-nemesis Bowser. Here’s the full rundown:

“This is a platform game in which players control characters from the Mario universe as they try to stop the villain Bowser. Players traverse whimsical environments while jumping on enemies’ heads, throwing projectiles/objects at them, or shooting small fireballs to take them down. -screen. Boss battles contain more complicated fights against giant enemies that spit fire and destroy parts of the stage.”

Super Mario Bros. Wonder arrives on October 20 of this year, so it at least confirms that it’s well on track for its scheduled release. follow the ESRB rating of sonic superstars last weekand Sega’s game is rumored to release around the same time as Nintendo’s new Mario title.
