Supreme Court (SC) Justice Mansoor Ali Shah on Monday has written the verdict in Khurshid Shah bail case.
According to which NAB could not provide any concrete information regarding the assets of Khurshid Shah and his family members.
The decision said that NAB only accused the anonymous institutions. NAB did not provide any concrete law to reject the sale dead value of Khurshid Shah’s assets; NAB did not estimate Khurshid Shah’s agricultural income as per law.
The decision also said that there was no ground to admit the allegations against Khurshid Shah regarding banking transactions. Two years after Khurshid Shah’s arrest, the NAB could not file a final reference.
Further detention of Khurshid Shah would be illegal and against fundamental rights.
It is pertinent to note that bail has been granted to Khurshid Shah in exchange for one crore bonds.
