GARWIN — On Monday afternoon, the Tama County Sheriff’s Office shared a post on Facebook seeking assistance in locating 22-year-old Garwin man Nicholas Collins, who was last seen on Dec. 19.
According to the post, Collins left a note saying he was “going away for a while” and left his home in Garwin for Gladbrook in a 2012 Mini Cooper. A license plate reader last tracked him in southern Missouri, and his phone has been shut off with no service since Dec. 19, when he last had contact with his family.
