It is said that the plot and story of the show seems to resemble the horrific Buraris death case that occurred in Delhi a few years back.
Although the creators of the show mentioned in the trailer that it “is inspired by the case that rocked the nation”, the promo does not make any direct reference to the Burari case. A source close to the show mentioned, “The plot and twist of the show seems to be exactly the same as the Burari case which occurred in 2018 with a family in Delhi and was terrifying news for the entire nation. Well, the creators as well as the producers Neeti-Preeti and the main cast have not reached out to talk about the show based on the Burari case, but the support for the show being inspired by the Burari case is at its peak. And it’s totally noticeable based on the trailer.”
Aakhri Sach is expected to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on August 25.
