CCTV has captured the moment a teenage girl ran to a bystander for help after after she was allegedly brazenly groped during broad daylight in Melbourne’s CBD.
The 16-year-old was walking along Wills St last Thursday when she was approached from behind by a man about 5.30pm.
Police said the man allegedly grabbed her on the buttocks and genital region over her clothes and then asked how old she was.

Leading Senior Constable Rohan Imms said the teenager approached a nearby man for help as he was crossing at the traffic lights and the alleged offender ran off west along Latrobe St.
Later that night, police believe the same man followed two 20-year-old women through a shopping centre about 9pm.
Police said the man again approached the two women from behind and allegedly grabbed them both on the buttocks at the same time.
Police allege the women turned around and the man appeared to be trying to open his fly before he ran off towards Little Latrobe St.
On Monday, Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives released CCTV of a man they believe can assist them with their investigation.
They wish to speak to him to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as caucasian, with brown hair and thick eyebrows.
He was wearing an industrial style blue and white mask, a light-coloured T-shirt, a dark coloured vest, dark tracksuit pants and blue runners with orange laces.
