Teenager stabbed in robbery in Sydney

A teenager is in a serious condition after he was stabbed during a robbery in Sydney on Saturday afternoon.

Police have been told four teenagers were at a park near the Great Western Highway when approached by three males armed with a knife and a vacuum pole, about 2.45pm.

The 16-year-old was stabbed following a verbal dispute over property and also had his bike stolen.

He ran to Bernard Place at Mount Druitt to seek help.

Paramedics arrived just before 3.20pm and treated the teenager before he was taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious condition.

The other teenagers were unhurt during the robbery.

Two scooters were also stolen.

Police want to speak to three males who may be able to assist them.

They are all described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori or African appearance and aged between 16 and 18.
