Trains run as scheduled after blaze on track between two stations

The London Fire Brigade has shared the following information about the fire:

Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters have been called to a fire.

The blaze is between Queen’s Road Peckham and South Bermondsey railways stations.

The fire occured on the night of Tuesday, January 13.

The crews are fighting the fire above arches.

Passengers have been evacuated from Queen’s Road Peckham Railway station.

There are no reports of injuries.

Trains have been stopped in both directions.

The power on the tracks has been isolated for fire crews to gain access to the track.
