Travel chaos as Thameslink passengers ‘trapped in tunnel for 2 hours’

Thameslink’s website now carries the following notice.

“A failure of the electricity supply in the London St Pancras International area means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running across the whole Thameslink network may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

“Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.”
