SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A flood advisory has been issued for portions of Salt Lake and Utah counties.
Minor flooding is ongoing or is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Up to 0.5″ inches of rain has fallen and another 0.5″ inches are expected.
The Utah Department of Transportation said to expect significant travel delays on southbound I-15 between Murray and Lehi, and to consider an alternate route if possible.
Storms are impacting areas all across the state with heavy rain and wind.
There is also flooding on westbound I-80 at SR-201. Please drive with caution.
