Turkey’s parliament accepted Sweden’s accession to NATO after months of deliberations, leaving Hungary because the lone holdout to the protection alliance’s northern enlargement.
The parliament plenary in Ankara voted 287 to 55 to just accept Sweden’s software on Tuesday, sending the doc again to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for a closing log out earlier than it may be deposited with the US State Division in Washington. Erdogan has already backed Sweden’s membership and is broadly anticipated to signal.
