Orlando, Florida. – Two people were killed and three others were injured Sunday night in a shooting near an Orlando park, police said.
The Orlando Police Department said officers were called around 6:50 p.m. to the 5400 block of Lescot Lane, near Poppy Park.
According to an initial report, five victims were taken to hospitals, where two patients were pronounced dead. The condition of the other three has not been released.

Details about the victims, including their names and ages, have not been released.
“From what I know, there is a young victim and an elderly victim, but again, I can’t go into detail about who and why,” Orange County Commissioner Mike Scott said.
It is not known who opened fire or what sparked the shooting.
An investigation is ongoing.
