Two Mumbai teenagers held over Pakistani Independence Day post | Indian News – India Times

MUMBAI: Two teenage college students from strained who posted a picture of Pakistan‘s Independence Day celebrations like its been on instagram they were arrested by the Mumbai police.

Police said the arrests were prohibitive in nature and the duo were released after a warning.
Police said businessman Prathmesh Chavan approached Colaba police on Monday and filed a complaint that some children were using the Pakistan I Day celebration as their Instagram status and that this may lead to community tension. The Colaba police ATS located the children on Monday night and placed them under preventive arrest.

The police checked their phones, took a screenshot and seized them. Police said they called their parents and let the children out after a warning. They have been prohibited, for the moment, from circulating in the surroundings.
