UK PM to set out ‘options’ for EU ties around 2026 summit

But Burnham said: “We will not give Britain the clear path we need into the rest of this century until we decide on a long-term relationship with what is still our largest market.”

He vowed to lay out ideas for the UK’s “long-term relationship with our European partners” at a postponed UK-EU summit now set for later this year, to determine “how we best work together on immigration”.
