KYIV, Nov 16 (Reuters) – Britain’s International Secretary David Cameron travelled to wartime Kyiv and met President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for talks on his first working journey overseas, the Ukrainian chief stated on Thursday.
Former prime minister Cameron, who was named as Britain’s new international minister on Monday, stated in a video posted by Zelenskiy’s workplace that he wished to underscore London’s help for Ukraine.
Zelenskiy stated he was grateful for the gesture, which comes amid a battle within the Center East that he stated had drawn international consideration away from Ukraine’s conflict with Russia, which is now in its twenty first month and and has no finish in sight.
