Large value overruns imply UK authorities plans to accommodate asylum seekers on former navy bases and barges will value much more than permitting them to stay in resorts, in accordance with the official spending watchdog.
The Nationwide Audit Workplace stated the Dwelling Workplace now expects to spend £1.2 billion ($1.5 billion) on its “giant websites” program, which can see asylum seekers positioned on the Bibby Stockholm barge berthed at a port in Dorset, on former Royal Air Power bases in Lincolnshire and Essex, and in former scholar lodging in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
